Women’s Bible Study
Dec 2 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Women's Bible Study @ Choir Room

We are excited to announce our upcoming Bible Study as part of Midweek at the Mount.

Becoming a Woman Whose God Is Enough will help you understand how God desires to bless you with His fullness and will teach you to depend on Him completely. Through this 11-session Bible study, you will learn to turn from worldly satisfaction to a life of contentment, from selfishness to humility, and from unbelief to rich fellowship with God.

No matter where you are in life, bestselling author Cynthia Heald will help you lay aside your self-sufficiency and embrace the woman God created you to be. As you grow to depend on the Lord, you’ll learn the joys of giving God control, waiting on Him with contentment, and humbly trusting Him.

The study will run Wednesdays, from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
& Thursday mornings 10:00 am – 11:15 am in room 1001 (next to the elevator).

Contact mpbcwomen@gmail.com with any questions or to find out about getting a study book.

Paul Tripp Parenting Conference
Mar 26 @ 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
We will stream Paul Tripp’s latest conference (Parenting: It’s Not What You Think It Is) on March 26 from 5:30-8:30pm. We ask for you to please register at the EventBrite link provided. This is for parents, guardians, grandparents, and anyone who works with children/teens. We will also have classes for children (babies-5th Grade). See below for session details:
  1. Give Up Control: The goal of parenting is not to control your child’s life; they will quickly outgrow your authority and be independent individuals. Don’t miss the big picture of what God has called you to do.
  2. Shape Their Character: Your children will reveal their lack of character over and over again. Learn how to lovingly expose the sin in their hearts and point them to the forgiveness of Jesus.
  3. Thrive In The Teen Years: Culture portrays this period of life as a chaotic season to be survived, but the Bible is very optimistic about what can be accomplished. Learn how to make the most of the teen years and help them successfully transition from childhood to adulthood.
  4. Rest In God: Parents who rest in God will experience abounding joy as a mother or father. This hope-infused conclusion will remind you that God never calls you to raise your kids without first providing you everything you need.
