WHAT IS VISION VIRGINIA?
Vision Virginia is the SBC of Virginia missions offering. Each and every contribution goes directly to the mission field to support the ministries listed below. This impact reaches far beyond Virginia to provide the resources necessary for people to hear the Gospel. Thank you for praying and giving to your missions offering.
We are excited to announce that our entire collective worship arts ministry will be presenting Behold the Lamb of God for Christmas this year. We would like to invite you and your entire family to a Behold The Lamb Of God kickoff celebration held at Pastor Ryan’s house, Sunday, September 6th, 12:30 – 3pm. This is open to all current worship arts team members, as well as anyone interested in joining, or getting more information. Contact Amy Meadows for more information.
This event is at Point of Rocks Park and is open to all homeschoolers and their families. There will be a nature walk at 10:30, picnic at 12, and recreation afterwards. Make sure to bring a packed lunch for the picnic! You are also free to come and go for whatever events you wish to participate in.

- Give Up Control: The goal of parenting is not to control your child’s life; they will quickly outgrow your authority and be independent individuals. Don’t miss the big picture of what God has called you to do.
- Shape Their Character: Your children will reveal their lack of character over and over again. Learn how to lovingly expose the sin in their hearts and point them to the forgiveness of Jesus.
- Thrive In The Teen Years: Culture portrays this period of life as a chaotic season to be survived, but the Bible is very optimistic about what can be accomplished. Learn how to make the most of the teen years and help them successfully transition from childhood to adulthood.
- Rest In God: Parents who rest in God will experience abounding joy as a mother or father. This hope-infused conclusion will remind you that God never calls you to raise your kids without first providing you everything you need.
