Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. (James 5:16)
Jesus said His house would be called “a house of prayer” (Matt. 21:13). In order to “bear fruit” of, and for, the Gospel we are asking people to prayerfully consider participating in the MPBC Prayer Ministry in the following ways:
Dr. Gregory Frizzell’s books How to Develop A Powerful Prayer Life and Returning to Holiness are available in the Member’s Center for $5 each. The books are a great resource to help you get started in a more full and rewarding prayer life. With or without the books, make a strong commitment to pray. There is no substitute for prayer, so ask God to help you grow in this spiritual discipline.
We’re encouraging MPBC Members to spend time praying in our Prayer Room throughout the week during office hours (9 am – 4:30 pm). Sign-up for a 30 minute time slot (max 1 hour for greater usage) individually, with a Prayer Partner, as a couple, or even as a family. Resources and Prayer Points will be added to the Prayer Room in upcoming weeks. Email Katherine Dohl, firstname.lastname@example.org, to sign up for a time slot in the Prayer Room.
